Loading Optimization and faster response are the main changes on this update.
Given the fact that some users have complained in the past for taking a long time to start the Calculator and in the meantime the had to stare at our logo for a while, we have optimized the loading code in order to reduce application opening time to minimum.

You will also find that if you need to access the calculator even quicker, pressing the back button will ask you if you want to close the app or "minimize" it. The minimize button actually leaves the application open on background, so next time you need it it will be brought to front immediately.

You do not have to worry about memory!

Firstly, Calculator ultimate size is only a few KBytes and
Secondly, Android will close the application automatically and will retrieve the memory held in case it is needed for some other application you are running.

Also, there are some bug fixes released with this update.
Bugs that we discover or you submit to us from time to time are examined, confirmed, given priority and corrected in a regular basis. Once corrected they are included in the next update of the application.
